2008 Baseball

The baseball season has started, we have Brewers, Rivercats, and Twins.

The Players

Surfs Up!

Danny had his first ever surfing lesson today in Cocoa Beach by Ron Jon's Surf shop.

Danny Playing Soccer

Danny played his soccer game today at thier home field in Satellite Beach. His Lightning team won this game 4-1.

Derek at bat

Derek got his second hit in 2 games yesterday in the Yankee's second loss of the season.

Yankees and Bees

Devin and Derek both had their first games tonight. Luckily they were in the same complex so we could walk between the fields to see both play since they were at the same time.

Devin was the lead off batter for her team and got on with a walk, then was able to later score a run. Her team won 11 to 8.

Derek was also the lead off batter for his Yankees, and on the very first pitch hit the ball for a base hit. Derek also was able to rack up the team's first score. Unfortunately the other team scored about a bazillion to their one, so it was a loss for Derek. It was fun though and Derek had a great time, he even got two balls hit to him on defense and he fielded them perfectly!

2007 Baseball Begins!

Danny had his first practice this evening at Hedgecock. He is in the Majors now (10-12 year olds), and his new team's name is the Florida Seminoles. Practice was good although it was cold and rainy.

Cheerleaders Competition

Devin Cartwheel
The Brevard County Cheerleaders competition was held today at the Melbourne High School Football Stadium. The place was packed as the whole county was represented.

The Seahawk Pee Wee girls failed to place in the competition but they did a fine job of competing.

Devin's solo Cartwheel turned out PERFECT! Here she is after having just performed it.

Sunday's Game

Our seats are marked with the yellow arrow
We just got back from the game in Miami. The Packers beat the Miami Dolphins 34-24. It was a good game to watch, lots of scoring and they kept it close the whole game, both teams had their chances to win. We were seated on the visitors side just to the right and behind the Packers bench. Other than the RECORD BREAKING heat we couldn't have asked for anything better. Lots of Packers fans around us so we didn't even have to tone it down any to keep from offending the Dolphin fans.

Danny got lot's of HIGH 5's in the walk ways with his Aman Green jersey on. We couldn't believe how many Packer fans there were.

2006 Seahawks - 3rd Game at Home

Paul Krantz of the Florida Today took this great picture of Danny about to make a tackle on a Rockledge player Saturday -- Garrett Arnold already has hold of him and Danny is just about to make the hit. We ended up losing that game so are 1 and 2 on this season, and travel to Port St. John this coming weekend.

2006 Seahawks - 2nd Game at Home

Danny fighting for extra yardage down near the goal line against the Merritt Island Mustangs on Saturday. This was the Seahawks home opener and everyone played outstanding football, with all divisions coming away with a win. Danny's team won 6-2.
