First Day of School
The kids were back to school today. Danny left later on the bus so wasn't in the picture.
Happy Birthday Lisa
We celebrated Lisa's birthday today with a fancy chocolate cake.
Water Park in Orlando
Today we headed to Orlando to spend the day at Disney's Blizzard Beach. It was cloudy so wasn't too hot which was nice, also seemed to keep the crowds down a bit.
Derek Turns Seven!
We celebrated Derek's birthday with cake and presents. The most popular gift was his Nintendo Wii. He's been playing it non-stop since. It came with a bunch of sports games like bowling, tennis, baseball, boxing and golf.

Danny's 2008 6th Grade Graduation
Danny graduated today out of Ocean Breeze elementary. The ceremonies were held this evening at Satellite High School.
It was quite a surprise when they announced the very first award, the 2008 Student Leadership Award, and called out Danny Dolnik's name! A member of the Melbourne-Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce was even there to present the award, which you can see the Ocean Breeze Principle holding in her hand in the photo. It was quite an honor and we are very proud of Danny. Everyone was full of congratulatory remarks after the ceremonies.

Lisa's First Sail
Lisa, Danny and I took the new boat out for a sail today. It was Lisa's first time out on it. We sailed with just the jib up after crossing under Mathers Bridge and going out into the Indian River. Lisa practiced motoring, controlling the throttle forward and reverse, and driving onto and off the anchor.

First Sail
Wow, it's been a long time since anything was posted to this blog. Today Danny and I went out on the new sailboat with the previous owner Keith. He helped us practice getting it in and out of the slip, and getting the sails up and down. After Keith left Danny and I took it out ourselves. It was beautiful weather with winds about 5-6mph out of the East.

2006 Seahawks Cheer
Devin's Cheer Team was out in full force today, with 30+ girls on the squad they look pretty impressive. Devin was all business as usually and did a fantastic job cheering on the football players!
